When the top brass at Quest Assist Headquarters came for an inspection, they were so impressed by Danny’s unique, “passive productivity” approach to work that they immediately promoted him to Call Center Manager.
“I don’t know what happened,” Danny says of his meteoric rise through the corporate hierarchy. “I was just trying to duck out early one day and now all this.”
Though he enjoys perks like “having a door” and “not talking to people”, Danny also cherishes his work family, playfully leaving them helpful sticky notes so that they know even if they don’t always see him, they are loved.
Likes: Avoiding work, slipping quietly out of his office without anyone noticing, having appointments elsewhere, the lifelike dummy he leaves at his desk so it looks like he’s still working, restoring old carts and carriages, Lich War reenactment, vacations, guessing who is going to die next on “Escape from Love Island”.
Dislikes: Going to work, performance reviews, missing his flight, that his dog chose his ex-girlfriend in the breakup, every color associated with the call center, The Migraine Fairy, thick soups.
